Roberts & Lee Handsaws

End of an era:  Roberts and Lee saws are no longer available from The ToolPost.  Saws are still being manufactured under the brand but no longer by the original family team: things are not the same.  I guess that an innings that lasts 100 years is not bad, but it is still sad to see the passing of an era.  In an age when "is it cheap" and "what part of China does it come from" seem to be the prevalent questions and "is it the best", "is it good value" and "was it made by someone who cares" are never voiced, I guess that it is the best that one can hope for.  Epitaph for a nation, maybe?

We shall shortly be offering the Pax range of saws from Flinns, another English maker of repute.
