Discerning woodworkers - by definition the sort of people who reach these pages (flatterer!) seek to use the best tools that they can afford.  Most of us would aspire to use the best that are produced, but that can be an uneconomically tall order, unfortunately: Still, we can dream.  What we have tried to do at The Toolpost is to offer a selection of "good" tools that anyone could be proud to own and that should give good service over a reasonable length of time - a lifetime or two with one or two possible exceptions (such as chisel rolls in the hands of the cavalier user).
