Sculpture Carving Tools

The tools on this page are intended for substantial projects.  They are robust tools designed to withstand heavy use with a mallet, typical of the production of large wooden sculptures.  The profiles chosen are those most commonly used in wood sculpting and may be seen in the cutting edge profiles reproduced below, left.  These profiles are derived from the London List, as is the case with the standard carving tools.

These tools are fitted with heavy duty double hooped ash handles and feature leather shock absorbing washers between bolster and handle.  Works of the toolmaker's craft for creating works of the wood-sculptor's art.

NB:  Whilst not listed in detail on the site (yet!) we also stock, and are pleased to supply, Henry Taylor wood carving and wood sculpting tools.  Please call or email your requirements.
