Creator of the world-renowned woodworkers supply company, Craft Supplies USA, a founder member of the AAW, acknowledged author of two of
the most influential books of the woodturning revival (Artistic Woodturning and Creative Woodturning), lynchpin of the Utah Symposia since inception, brilliant woodturner and tireless evangelist for woodturning and
woodturners, Dale will be sorely missed.
As a world traveller, Dale brought his skill, knowledge and boundless enthusiasm for woodturning to a huge audience. He shared his knowledge and his skills freely

Few have had such a huge influence on the development of the activity we love to call woodturning. We have been privileged to
know Dale and to have benefitted from his influence. The world of woodturning is a poorer place for his loss.
To his wife and family and to his myriad friends worldwide, we offer our heartfelt
